TITLE:
DESCRIPTION: The streetscape and "neighborhood character" which according to the City Of Yarra would have been adversely affected by the planning permit for a relatively small balcony screening device. Note the buildings in the foreground on the RHS have privacy screening devices approved by Yarra City Council and constructed at the time of permit applicant submission . The permit applicant argued that this was just one of many examples where the planning authority had demonstrated an inconsistent approach with regards to planning policy implementation.
